Who runs this community

The Sisterhood by Josie is operated by THE MIND HEALER LLC.

A mailing address has not been supplied yet. It can be added in the admin settings.

What we collect

  • Your display name, email address, and password (stored hashed by our auth provider).
  • Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and your agreement to these notices.
  • Whether you opted in to promotional email, and when.
  • Optional profile details: photo, short introduction, and what you hope to find.
  • Messages, voice notes, replies, and reactions you post in Sister Chat.
  • Your RSVPs to gatherings, and any reports you file.

We do not ask for your phone number, home address, children’s names, or relationship history.

Who can see what

  • Visitors who are not logged in see only the public pages.
  • Verified, active members see other members’ display names, optional photos and introductions, chat messages, and gathering details.
  • Email addresses are never shown to other members. They are visible only to the administrator.
  • Reports are visible only to you and the moderation team. The person you report is never told who reported them.
  • Zoom links are only served to signed-in, active members.

Private messages, announcements, reports and recordings

Private messages are stored in our database and can be read only by the two members in that conversation. The administrator does not browse private conversations. Messages are protected in transit and access is restricted, but they are not end-to-end encrypted.

Announcements from Josie arrive privately in each member’s Inbox. Replies go only to the administrator. We keep a history of announcements with delivery counts, not a visible recipient list.

If you report a message, moderators see only that message (a copy saved at the time of the report) and the note you wrote. The reported member is not told who reported it. Blocking stops private messages and requests from that person.

Session recordings are hosted by an outside video provider. We list them only for active members, but a video link may still be shareable unless the provider also restricts access. Not every session is recorded.

Where your data is stored

Accounts, messages, and community data are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database provided by Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase). Photos and voice notes are stored in private file storage on the same platform and are served through short-lived links that only signed-in members can request. Verification and password-reset emails are sent by the same platform’s email service. We do not use advertising pixels and we do not use member data for ad targeting.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your profile page. Deleting removes your profile, your private account record, your voice notes and photo, your reactions, and your RSVPs, and removes your messages from the chat.

Two limits worth knowing: other members may already have read, remembered, or copied something you posted, and routine encrypted platform backups may retain deleted records for a short period before they age out. You can also email josie@themindhealer.com to request deletion.

Promotional email

We only send promotional email to members who ticked the optional consent box. Account emails (confirmation and password reset) are sent regardless, because they are needed to run your account.
